LEO English was founded in 2015 by Teacher Taya Maddock, an experienced ESL teacher with over 16 years in the field. Taya has taught thousands of students across the world, creating custom lessons that are engaging, fun, and effective.

She worked for many years as a highly successful teacher at Novakid, where her students and parents valued her creativity and dedication. During the pandemic, she was also headhunted to join an elite ESL school, further refining her approach. Over the years, she has designed lesson plans, teaching materials, and proposals for multiple international schools and companies — always with the goal of making English accessible and enjoyable.

Taya’s philosophy is simple: students learn best when they feel confident, heard, and free to make mistakes. Every lesson is structured around grammar, vocabulary, and speaking practice, but always with creativity at the core. From role-play and storytelling to carefully designed worksheets and visuals, her materials are designed to bring English to life.

LEO English now offers personalised one-on-one lessons and small group classes (up to 6 students), with flexible scheduling and materials tailored to each learner’s age, level, and goals.
